There are three barns, built in the 1700s. All have been devotedly restored to offer the highest standard of luxury, comfort, furnishing, art and design. We have retained all the natural material period detail you would expect to find in an old barn. Although these barns can be booked individually, they are also ideal for groups, whether couples, friends or families.
Experience a taste of country living with handmade country kitchens, luxury bedrooms (all en-suite), log stoves and landscaped gardens.
At The Dovecote Barns each bedroom has a contemporary en-suite, either a walk-in wet room or bath/shower room. Our stylish bedrooms offer either a kingsize bed or super kingsize 6' bed which can be converted to a twin if required. All beds have luxury Harrison mattresses normally found at John Lewis - a guaranteed good night sleep!
The Irishman's barn is wheelchair friendly.
On arrival, you will find a welcome basket complete with locally sourced produce, homemade bread and wine. We are happy to accept and unpack a supermarket home delivery for you. This enables you to get settled straight away into a relaxed holiday mode.
Each barn has its own secluded landscaped area for dining al fresco or just for relaxing and watching the sunset with a glass of wine. Alternatively, for those winter months you can curl up in front of the log burning stove.
Group Accommodation
In the oak framed Hay Barn, all twelve guests can enjoy eating together. This is ideal for family occasions or friends getting together.
