‘Exquisite accommodation for all the family.  Having the disabled cottage next door as well, worked really well and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts.  Normally when we go away we like to spend a lot of time out of the accommodation.  Here, it is lovely to stay in and enjoy the surroundings of a truly well equipped cottage.  Had a lovely relaxing weekend which the whole family could enjoy together.  The lovely homely touches were very much appreciated and having on-line shopping delivery meant our time could be spent relaxing in a ‘home from home’ setting. The Dovecote is a three storey property with 2 en-suite bedrooms.

You enter the Dovecote in the entrance hall (with separate WC).

The hall leads to the lounge which has a log fire stove and there is underfloor heating throughout the barn to ensure you remain snug all year round.


The large beautiful hand-made country kitchen has its own private garden area accessed via french doors.

The first floor bedroom has a super king size 6' bed which can be converted to twin beds if required. The en-suite contains a walk-in shower.

We have preserved the dovecote nesting holes and these are a feature in the staircase which leads to the second floor.

On the second floor you will find the second en-suite bedroom with a king-size bed. The en-suite has a bath and overhead shower. This bedroom features a beamed queens truss ceiling.
