The Dovecote Barns offers you a taste of country living in the sumptuously furnished surroundings of converted historic barns near York, the centre of historic and cultural Yorkshire. There are three self-contained luxurious holiday self catering cottages (sleeping 2, 4, 6 adults) devotedly restored and including hand-made country kitchens with granite worktops, all en-suite bedrooms with luxury John Lewis mattresses and individually designed contemporary bathrooms, log stoves and under-floor heating. All offer the highest standard of attention to detail, comfort, fittings, furnishings, art and design. Each barn has its own private garden area with barbeque for dining al fresco.

Relax in the open countryside or stroll through the medieval streets of one of England's most ancient cities. Located ten minutes from the York Designer Outlet where a Park & Ride service operates into York city centre, or there is a public bus service from your doorstep into the city, with a late night service operating on the weekends. If using the car, the barns are within easy reach of some of Yorkshire's best historic estates and attractions.
